On July 21, 2024, we set out on an exhilarating motorcycle ride, embracing the monsoon season’s unique charm. The air was filled with the refreshing scent of rain, a cool breeze, and the vibrant greens of nature, creating the perfect backdrop for our adventure. Our destination was Gudibande Fort, a scenic spot just 91 kilometers from our meeting point at 6kiom on Kasturba Road.
Meet-Up and Briefing
Arrival at 6kiom (Kasturba Road)
Our adventure kicked off early in the morning, with riders gathering at 6kiom on Kasturba Road by 5:00 AM. Everyone showed up on time, which helped us start the day smoothly. Punctuality wasn’t just about sticking to the schedule—it was crucial for safety. We needed to make sure everyone was briefed and prepared for the ride ahead.
Briefing Session
At 5:30 AM, we held a comprehensive briefing session. We went over the route, discussed safety protocols, and made sure everyone knew what to expect. This briefing was essential for both new riders and veterans, setting the stage for a fun and safe journey.
The Ride Begins
Flag Off at 6:00 AM
By 6:00 AM, we were all set to go. The flag-off was an exciting moment, with engines roaring and spirits soaring. The crisp morning air was perfect for riding, and we took advantage of the empty roads to make good time for our first stop.
Breakfast Stop at Krishna Grand
About halfway to Gudibande Fort, we made a pit stop for breakfast at Krishna Grand. It was a great spot to unwind, refuel, and enjoy a hearty meal. These breakfast breaks are more than just a chance to eat—they’re also a time to connect with fellow riders and share the excitement of the journey.
